New Server and CVS Freezed

Hi all.
We have moved to a new server with another hoster. Bluehost kept our server down for sometime now, keeping lots of people out of this Community Website, and I couldn’t take it anymore, as of now we are already in a new server.
Its more then likely that you didn’t even notice the change, besides the server being more responsive.
Hopefully we will now be able to scale things in a better way with this hosting solution on the Network Redux servers.
I would only ask you to report on the speed and stability.
Going onto things that might interest you more, CVS is now Freezed, what this means is that there will be no more features included from now until de release, only bug fixes.
RC2 should also be hitting the road soon.

I think you made a good move myself. I too am with Bluehost and I’m none too happy to move.

Rui, any word out on how the chroot is coming? Just another anxious Blender user (yeah I know the offical build is coming out - but I want to compare render speeds with CPU optimized builds!)

Compared to my internet bill at home, it’s 1/9 of the cost! I need to switch ISP or get a lower rate
Do they have BitTorrent trackers capability? Because I can produce movies with Blender and share them that way, even 250GB per month is not enough if you have 10,000s of seeds/peers

They have bigger bandwidth packages, but also more expensive.
