Hi to all visiting.
This will be the future home of BlenderBuilds.com, a website dedicated to the Blender Comunity, delivering predictable CVS Builds every month.
Features being prepared include:
- Mac OS X (powerpc) builds
- Mac OS X (intel) builds
- Linux (x86) builds
- Linux (x86_64) builds
- Windows builds
- Optimized builds for Pentium 4, Athlon XP, AMD64, Centrino, Core Duo, Core 2 Duo
- Optimized builds for SSE, SSE2, SSE3 and 3DNow
Right now there isn’t much to see here, but some builds are already online.
These builds are provided by outside contributors who have done their best to ensure things run nicely.
Test builds available right now:
- Windows - Python 2.4 with Verse (provided by Eugene Reilly) -> CVS of 14th October 2006
- Mac OS X (powerpc) - Python 2.4 with Verse (provided by Jonathan Ferguson) -> CVS of 6th October 2006
- Linux (optimized) - Python 2.4 with BlenderPlayer (provided by me Rui Campos) -> CVS of 15th October 2006
PS: Additional libraries for the Linux build can be found here.

Wow, glad to see a new builds site up and running. This looks like a very nice and practical site. Thankyou for the new builds!

@Catboy85: I’m glad you like it, I will improve it somemore after the Blender Conference, add some banners that make it easier to find the build you might be looking for.

To Eduardo:
Open a Console / Terminal a go to the directory where you have extracted blender and just run ./blender and see what it says about it.
You are surely missing a library or something.
